Bayswell with Bae

You don’t have to go a million miles away to get that relaxing break away from life and all the crazy-ness that comes with it. Last weekend my boyfriend and I packed our bags and headed up to Dunbar for a night away at the stunning Bayswell Park Hotel. Both having busy jobs and shifts that don’t always suit each other there’s some weeks where everyday that I’m off Ryan is at work so it’s nice to plan a get away every now and again!!

Bayswell is less than an hour and a half’s drive away from home but it felt like a little piece of heaven. Major boyfriend points as Ryan very kindly booked us a stay in one of the hotels hot tub suites. The hotel sits right on top of a cliff so our room had a view overlooking the water so the hot tub + the view made for absolute bliss!

The town of Dunbar itself is pretty peaceful with a few quaint little shops and a few local pubs. Perfect if you’re looking for somewhere you can relax and unwind with the best little coastal walks and views. We headed out for a quick bite to eat then stocked up on plenty Malibu and coke (the #1 holiday drink) and opted for a night in to make the most of having a hot tub in your bedroom.. clearly not an everyday occurrence!! Not to mention a great cooked breakfast to wake up to in the morning (inc in the price).

Bayswell has plans to under go a major revamp in the next coming months to year and we can’t wait to head back and see the changes they have made. This is definitely worth a visit if you live in Scotland or happen to be here visiting!!

Keeping it short and sweet today, let me know in the comments any relaxing get aways you guys have been on and loved!! Or anywhere you recommend we have to visit!!!
