March so far has been crazy and my blogging has taken a side line but I’m back and I can’t wait to get trying some more amazing new beauty releases!! But before all that I thought now March’s GlossyBox has arrived this would be the best time to review all the products from last months Box!!
February’s Box has been my favourite so far due to one stand out product the Sleek I-Divine eyeshadow palette in 141 vintage romance. This is a pocket sized palette with 12 shades, 11 shimmery and one matte transition colour. It is a fun perfect for a night out palette due to the shimmers and the range of pinks and purples. The shadows due to being mineral based are so creamy and pigmented, very easy to blend and long lasting. I have been loving this product!! The palette also comes with a great sized mirror and the retails for £8.99 a total steal.
There were 2 skin care/ make-up finishing products in this months Box. The Skin Chemists London aqua repair facial serum, this product is super luxurious very thick and creamy and provides so much hydration, I love using this before bed at night with a thicker moisturiser you wake up in the morning and your skin feels so hydrated and plump. However and this is a big however this 30 ml tube of product retails on the skin chemists website at a whopping £64.. in my opinion totally not worth spending that amount of money when there are other similar products on the market for a lot less (sorry guys). There was also the Studio 10 make-up fixing mist. This is said to be a primer, hydrating mist and setting spray. For primer and hydration purposes I love it, for make up setting purposes I really don’t like it. The spray is so powerful and very wet so if you spray it on your face with make up on you get water spots, not a great look.. I like it for the days where I’m not wearing make up and feeling kind of dry and it has a lovely scent, so it’s not all doom and gloom. Product retails for £26 full size.
The next product I’m neither here nor there on which I’m sad about because the packaging is so beautiful and I really wanted to love it.. it is the Steve Laurant beauty lip tint in nude pop. The reason I’m not wowed by this product is that i’m not so in love with the formula. On my lips it’s too drying. I would much rather just use a lipgloss not this kind of in between formula between a lip balm and lip gloss. But the colour is pretty and the packaging is so stunning I would love to try some other products from this brand and see how they perform. Steve Laurant are an American beauty brand and this product retails for $22 I’m not entirely sure how it would work for UK shipping but there website is definitely worth checking out.
Let’s end on a high shall we this month featured one of Ciate Londons geology nail polish’s in a mini version. The colour pillow talk is a nude based grey. There’s nothing much more to say other than I love this. I have this on my tootsies right now and the gel based formula is so thick, one coat and you’re good to go!! Lasts so much longer than any other polish I own 10/10 would recommend!!
So all in all another great Box the good outweigh the bad, let me know what you got in February’s GlossyBox and who got some of the same products!! Would love to know your thoughts.. stay tuned for the reviews on March’s box!! Spoiler alert it features an amazing pore perfecting primer..
As always thanks for reading,
